Bio: Tommy Reyes comes to Brainerd from the strong west coast program at University of California-Irvine. Tommy burst onto the scene as a freshman, finishing fourth in hitting (.348) for UCI, one of the best teams in the country. He followed up a successful freshman campaign by leading the Wenatchee Apple Sox to the West Coast League Championship. Reyes became an "Anteater" at UCI after a high school career that included All-State honors at Bishop Amat High School in La Puente, Calif. He also helped lead his team to two consecutive Del Rey League championships.
