BRAINERD Minnesota--Bryan Karraker and Matt Dittman led Rochester to a come-from-behind victory, 7-5, as the first place Honkers sweep the two-game series versus the Lunkers.
After falling behind 2-0, including Richie Jimenez's third home run of the season in the first inning--the fifth straight game the team has surrendered at least one in the opening frame--Brainerd score four runs in the bottom of the fifth, on a slew of hits and one Honkers error.
The Lunkers, however, could not execute the shutdown inning as they immediately gave the lead back, giving up three in the six and two in the seventh.
Bryan Karraker had three hits--two triples--and Matt Dittman added three hits as well, including three RBIs.
The Lunkers were not without their opportunities as they left 12 runners on base, inlcuding two in the ninth, including the tying run in scoring position.
The Lunkers have Monday off before traveling to Canada to face Thunder Bay for three games.
