The Brainerd Lakes Area Lunkers and the Northwoods League are proud to bring good, wholesome family entertainment at affordable prices to the Lakes Area. The Northwoods League is a summer collegiate league comprised of fourteen teams of the top student athletes from across the nation and North America. Each team is operated similarly to a professional minor league team, providing players an opportunity to play under the same conditions using wooden bats, minor league specification baseballs, experiencing overnight road trips, and playing nightly before fans in a stadium.

The Lunkers and the Northwoods League are dedicated to developing collegeite players from strong baseball programs and bringing fun-filled family atmosphere, along with great competition, to each fan visiting Mills Field.
